1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Sound Stock, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, our Licensing Terms, and any additional rules posted on the site.

2. Use of Content

All content including but not limited to music, sound effects, loops, and samples on Sound Stock are licensed for use in your projects under the terms of your selected plan or subscription. You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense these files individually or as part of any competing library. You are prohibited from using any Sound Stock content for the training or development of artificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning models, whether commercial or non-commercial.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.

4. Prohibited Conduct

• Do not attempt to hack, scrape, or interfere with our systems.
• No uploading or use of illegal, hateful, or infringing content.
• No sharing of downloaded assets outside of your authorized use.

5. Compliance with Laws

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of Sound Stock and its content complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and requirements of your jurisdiction. Sound Stock makes no representations or warranties regarding the legality of your use in any location, and expressly disclaims any and all liability for your failure to comply with local, national, or international laws. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sound Stock LLC from any claims, damages, or penalties arising from your violation of such laws or regulations.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sound Stock LLC and its affiliates, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of your use or inability to use the platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to these terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you, if any, to access Sound Stock.

7. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Nevada, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the use of Sound Stock shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada.

8. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

9. Force Majeure

Sound Stock LLC shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, labor disputes, natural disasters, internet outages, or governmental regulations.

10. DMCA Policy

If you believe that any content on Sound Stock infringes your copyright, please notify us in accordance with our DMCA Policy available at DMCA.

11. Original Works & Clean IP Guarantee

All audio available on Sound Stock — including music, loops, samples, and sound effects — is generated using legally released third-party generative tools. Sound Stock does not train its own AI models, does not scrape copyrighted material, and does not use any unlicensed third-party intellectual property during the creation of its catalog.

Each file offered on Sound Stock is a new, independently generated sound recording that contains no copyrighted source material, no identifiable excerpts, and no derivative content based on any existing work. All outputs are created through human-directed processes, including selection, curation, processing, editing, metadata creation, normalization, and categorization. These creative decisions constitute authorship under current U.S. and international copyright law.

Because Sound Stock does not rely on human contributors, legacy catalogs, or copyrighted source recordings, each asset is provided with a clean intellectual property chain. This means:

• No royalties are owed to any third party.
• No splits, composer rights, or performance rights apply.
• No upstream copyright holders exist for any Sound Stock content.
• No content is derived from copyrighted recordings or proprietary datasets.

By using legally released generative tools and producing entirely new, fixed recordings, Sound Stock LLC is the sole owner of the copyright in all audio distributed on the platform. Users may safely license and use Sound Stock content without concern for claims from external rights-holders, dataset owners, contributors, or performing rights organizations.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access for any violation of these terms, or for suspicious or abusive activity, at our sole discretion.

13. Disclaimer

Sound Stock provides all content "as is" and disclaims all warranties, express or implied. We are not liable for any damages arising from use of the service or its content.
