Licensing Terms

Overview

Sound Stock offers a straightforward, royalty-free license for all content that we provide including music, sound effects, loops, and samples. When you download content from Sound Stock, you receive the right to use it in accordance with these terms.

Permitted Uses

• Use in YouTube videos, podcasts, Twitch streams, and other online content.
• Use in film, television, radio, and commercial advertisements.
• Use in video games, mobile apps, and software projects.
• Use in corporate videos, presentations, and promotional materials.
• Use in educational and non-profit projects.
• Use on social media, websites, and digital platforms.
• No credit required (though always appreciated).

Prohibited Uses

• No Resale or Redistribution: You may not resell, repackage, or redistribute Sound Stock audio files as stand-alone assets, or as part of any competing library, marketplace, or service.
• No Use for AI Training: You may not use any Sound Stock content or data, in whole or in part, for the training, fine-tuning or development of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, or data mining models, whether commercial or non-commercial.
• No Claim of Ownership: You may not claim ownership of any Sound Stock content, nor register it in any copyright or content ID system as your own.
• No Unlawful Use: You may not use Sound Stock content in any unlawful, defamatory, hateful, or otherwise prohibited manner under your local, national, or international laws.
• We use conceptual hashing technology to keep track of our content.

Subscription Plans & Project Scope

Your license to use Sound Stock content is determined by your active subscription or purchased plan. If your subscription lapses or is terminated, you may continue to use content in previously completed projects, but you may not use or sync new Sound Stock content in new projects until you renew or purchase a new license.

Ownership & Intellectual Property

All content remains the exclusive property of Sound Stock LLC. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the content as outlined in these terms.

No Warranty

All content is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. Sound Stock makes no representations regarding the suitability or legality of your use in any jurisdiction.

Legal Compliance

You are solely responsible for ensuring your use complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction. Sound Stock disclaims all liability for your failure to comply with such laws.
