NAMM Opens Registration for 2027 Show in Anaheim, Jan. 26-30

CARLSBAD, Calif. – On September 9 2026, the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) announced that registration for its 2027 Show is now open. The event will run from January 26 to 30, 2027, at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California.

The 2027 Show is poised to bring together more than 60,000 industry professionals from 122 countries, representing a buying power of $9.8 billion and generating 70 million social media views during the 2026 edition. Over five days, manufacturers, retailers, distributors, artists, creators, technology specialists, educators, media outlets, influencers and other leaders will convene for business, product discovery, professional development, live music, networking and celebration.

According to the press release, the main exhibition floors will open on January 28 and run through January 30. Those days will host immersive brand experiences, product launches, hands‑on demonstrations, business meetings, creator engagement sessions and discovery events across the global music‑products landscape. The program begins two days earlier with education, professional development, networking, special events and industry gatherings on January 26.

NAMM’s president and CEO, John Mlynczak, said the Show has evolved into a global platform that brings together the people, products and ideas shaping the future of music. He added that the 2027 program expands opportunities with new summits and experiences designed for entrepreneurs, executives, retailers, artists, educators, engineers, creators and technology professionals.

The 2027 agenda includes educational summits, live performances and industry awards. The press release notes that past editions have featured artists such as Jon Batiste, Jacob Collier, Queen Cora, Billy Corgan, Green Day, Primus, Charlie Puth, Chad Smith, Lindsey Stirling, Jack White and Victor Wooten.

The Anaheim Convention Center, the venue for the Show, offers 1.8 million square feet of space, including 813,607 sq ft of exhibition area. The center’s history of hosting large conventions—such as Star Wars Celebration, VidCon and BlizzCon—provides a proven infrastructure for the music industry’s largest trade event.

The 2027 Show’s schedule, as released, will include: • Tuesday, Jan 26 – education, networking and professional development across the campus. • Wednesday, Jan 27 – industry programming, networking, special events and professional development. • Thursday, Jan 28 – exhibition floor open 10 am–6 pm. • Friday, Jan 29 – exhibition floor open 10 am–6 pm. • Saturday, Jan 30 – exhibition floor open 10 am–5 pm.
