Melody Place Adds Industry Veterans Bob Reeves and Liz Kiley to Leadership Team
Nashville’s independent powerhouse, Melody Place, made a double‑hired move on September 9, 2026, bringing Bob Reeves on as Head of Promotion & Commercial Partnerships and Liz Kiley as Head of Marketing.
Reeves, a seasoned promotions veteran, has spent more than a quarter‑century steering radio campaigns for labels such as Warner Music Nashville, Reviver Entertainment Group and Riser House Entertainment. He’s cultivated deep ties with country‑radio decision makers, helping secure Gold and Platinum certifications, chart climbs and broader radio impact for a string of country hits.
Kiley, a cross‑media executive, has charted a career that spans music, television and radio. Prior stints at Universal Music Group, MTV Networks/Viacom and The Box Network saw her shape marketing, programming and streaming strategies. A Leadership Music alumna and former board member, she has earned industry awards for blending programming, marketing, operations and artist‑centric storytelling.
"The combined wisdom of Bob Reeves and Liz Kiley provides Melody Place with a treasure trove of context, leadership, and vision," said Sandy McGraw, President and GM. "They’ve reached pinnacles that others spend their entire careers striving for, and I’m thrilled and humbled that they’ve joined us on our journey to put art and the artists first."
Founded in 2018 by Chairman Leigh Shockey, Melody Place is a boutique Nashville label and publishing house that has signed front‑line acts such as Sara Evans, Pia Toscano, Katharine McPhee, Broadway‑starlet Jasmine Amy Rogers, Braden Hull and Jackie Evancho. The company has also ventured beyond traditional releases, co‑producing the Broadway musical BOOP! with 16‑time Grammy winner David Foster and issuing its Original Cast Recording, and launching the 18‑track duet tribute album Dan Seals & Friends: The Last Duet in partnership with the Dan Seals Estate.
With Reeves’ radio expertise and Kiley’s streaming and cross‑media savvy, Melody Place is better positioned to navigate the shifting promotion and marketing terrain. Their track records dovetail with the label’s focus on country and pop artists while supporting its Broadway and tribute projects.
Independent labels such as Melody Place play a vital role in the U.S. music ecosystem by offering artists tailored promotion and publishing services. The addition of Reeves and Kiley is expected to broaden the label’s reach across radio, streaming platforms and other media outlets, fueling growth for its current roster and forthcoming releases.
As Reeves and Kiley step into their new roles, Melody Place continues to expand its catalog and cement its reputation in Nashville. The label has indicated that additional projects are in development, though specific release dates remain undisclosed.
