OSA International Deploys Elation Rebel Line 16 Lighting at Inaugural XGL Sacramento Event

When the X Games rolled into Sacramento, the lights did more than illuminate the track—they painted the night.

On June 26‑28 2026, OSA International – a full‑service production company with over forty years of experience – installed 26 Elation Lighting Rebel Line 16 linear tilt bars at the first MoonPay X Games League (XGL) Summer season held at Heart Health Park. The event blended action‑sports competition with nightly concerts headlined by Kaskade, Subtronics and Mustard.

The Rebel Line 16 fixtures were chosen for their IP55 rating, 25,000‑lumen output and 60‑W RGBL LEDs that deliver a full‑spectrum, tunable light. According to OSA’s lighting designer Anthony Padilla, each bar offers a 4°‑35° zoom, a 210° tilt and an integrated SparkX array of 5‑W cool‑white LEDs. These features let designers craft wide washes, pixel effects and crisp aerial looks. Padilla noted that the fixture’s “continuous beam with no visible breaks” was essential for shaping the chevron‑shaped arrays that framed the stage’s central LED video “X.”

During the medal ceremonies, the Rebel Line 16’s versatility shone. Eight bars were angled toward the stage, set to white, zoomed wide and used for face‑lighting. The bars produced “beautiful light on people’s skin,” proving their suitability for both concert lighting and broadcast applications.

The lighting design also incorporated high‑powered strobes between each Rebel Line fixture, creating a dramatic three‑dimensional look. Padilla explained that the bars served as uplight, curtains of light, washes, bursts and pixel effects. “Shutting everything else off” produced “huge curtains and pockets of light through the haze,” giving the venue a cinematic atmosphere. The flexibility allowed visiting artist lighting designers to integrate the bars into their own programming.

Mark Fetto, Vice President of Lighting at OSA International, said the company sought a fixture that could replace aging LED battens while offering “brightness, split 2×8‑pixel design, zoom, and tilting capabilities.” He added that the Rebel Line 16 “fits perfectly with the wide variety of events we produce, from corporate productions and special events to concert touring and festivals.”

OSA International has supported X Games productions for more than a decade and has been involved with the event’s expanding music component since 2024. The company’s headquarters are in Chicago, with full‑service production operations in Las Vegas and Nashville.

The XGL Sacramento event marked the debut of a new global, team‑based X Games format. After each day’s competition, the venue transformed into a large‑scale music festival, with the Rebel Line 16 fixtures playing a key role in the stage architecture. The bars’ IP55 rating made them well suited for the outdoor setting of Heart Health Park.
