RBW Rebrands WM Entertainment to StrangeLab and Transfers Oh My Girl to DSP Media

On August 11, 2026, RBW announced that its subsidiary WM Entertainment Co. will be renamed StrangeLab and that the girl group Oh My Girl will move under DSP Media Co., a consolidated RBW subsidiary.

The rebrand follows RBW’s 2021 acquisition of WM Entertainment and its March 2026 purchase of 257 Entertainment. The two companies have been merged into a single operation that will now operate under the StrangeLab name, a change the company described as a “new beginning” for the combined business.

StrangeLab’s mandate is to fuse the group’s intellectual property—music, video, and artists—with information‑technology tools. The label will continue to handle production, planning, and artist development for acts XLOV and LU, and aims to become a distinct music brand under the new name.

In the new structure, DSP Media will assume all production, planning, and management duties for Oh My Girl. DSP Media, acquired by RBW in January 2022, has a long history of artist management and music production and will leverage its established pipeline and marketing infrastructure to support the group’s forthcoming releases.

RBW said the restructuring is intended to sharpen each label’s identity and expertise, creating an environment that can focus more on artists. The company emphasized that the changes are part of a broader effort to reorganize the label operating system within the group.

The move follows RBW’s recent expansion of its label portfolio, which now includes DSP Media and 257 Entertainment. By integrating these entities, RBW seeks to diversify its artist roster and enhance its content‑production capabilities.

The statement was issued by RBW’s corporate communications team. No comments have yet been released by the artists or partner companies. RBW thanked fans and shareholders for their continued support.

The changes take effect immediately: WM Entertainment will operate as StrangeLab, and Oh My Girl will be managed by DSP Media. RBW will continue to oversee the overall group structure.

StrangeLab’s focus on technology signals RBW’s intent to streamline creative workflows and expand global reach. By integrating IT tools, the label aims to enhance music production and distribution.

DSP Media’s track record—managing acts such as Kard and Baby Blue—positions it to provide robust support for Oh My Girl. The company will use its established production pipeline and marketing infrastructure to promote the group’s upcoming releases.
