Barking Owl Names Adrian Womack Executive Creative Producer to Strengthen East Coast Presence

Barking Owl, the award‑winning agency that fuses music, sound design and sonic branding, announced on 10 August 2026 that New Orleans native Adrian Womack will join as its new Executive Creative Producer. The move, headquartered in the firm’s New York office, is part of a broader strategy to deepen the agency’s footprint on the East Coast and across Europe.

Womack’s path into the audio world began in 2014 when he earned a fellowship with the Multicultural Advertising Intern Program (MAIP). The fellowship placed him in New York for a production internship at Saatchi & Saatchi, where he first encountered the advertising industry. He later relocated to Los Angeles, producing campaigns for brands such as Nissan, Airbnb and Google, and contributing to the city’s Olympic bid. While in L.A., he continued to write music and play keyboards for local bands before transitioning to full‑time advertising music production.

In 2022 Womack joined Racket Club as an executive creative producer. As one of the firm’s earliest hires, he helped shape its creative identity, refine production workflows and cultivate a culture that values collaboration. Throughout his career, he has earned a reputation for marrying creative vision with disciplined production, spotting emerging talent and creating opportunities for artists and collaborators from diverse backgrounds.

Beyond his agency work, Womack serves as president of the East Coast Chapter of the Association of Music Producers (AMP), the national trade organization that represents independent music and audio post‑production companies working with agencies and brands. In that capacity he leads AMP’s East Coast community and advances advocacy, education, mentorship and industry development.

"Adrian, as he is affectionately known, has that rare combination of creative instinct, production expertise, and a genuine ability to build relationships," said Kirkland Alexander Lynch, Barking Owl’s CEO. "He understands the agency world, the music world, and, most importantly, how to bring people from those worlds together around great work. His leadership within AMP also reflects the respect he has earned across our industry. We are thrilled to have him leading the charge for Barking Owl on the East Coast."

Womack echoed the sentiment: "Barking Owl has built an incredible reputation by putting craft, creativity, and people first. I’m excited to join a team that shares my belief in the power of music and sound, and to help build the relationships, opportunities, and creative community that will drive the company’s next chapter on the East Coast and beyond."

As Executive Creative Producer, Womack will oversee Barking Owl’s original music, sound design, audio mixing, sonic branding and music supervision services. He will mentor producers and emerging talent, cultivate new client and creative partnerships, and ensure that the agency’s award‑winning work is underpinned by a strong, collaborative production environment.

The appointment underscores Barking Owl’s commitment to the New York market and to expanding its presence across the United States and Europe. By combining exceptional creative talent, disciplined production leadership and meaningful client relationships, the agency aims to solidify its reputation as a leader in music and sound for advertising, gaming, film, television and other media.

Currently, Barking Owl is focused on integrating Womack into its existing teams and leveraging his network to secure new projects on the East Coast. While the agency has not announced specific upcoming campaigns, industry observers anticipate that the appointment will accelerate its growth in the region.

In summary, Barking Owl’s hiring of Adrian Womack signals a strategic push into the East Coast market, emphasizing talent development, production excellence and expanded client service.
