Audrey Hobert Extends Staircase to Stardom Tour, Adds Bay Area Dates
The 27‑year‑old pop‑indie singer‑songwriter Audrey Hobert has announced an expansion to her Staircase to Stardom Tour, adding three high‑profile U.S. stops and a headline show in Oakland.
The added dates include the Brooklyn Paramount in New York, Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium, and Chicago’s Riviera Theatre. The tour will conclude with a headline performance at Oakland’s Fox Theater on October 13, a venue that has become a staple for artists who have reached a certain level of mainstream recognition.
Ticket presales for the new dates will begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 29, with general sales opening at the same time on Friday, July 31. Fans can secure seats through Ticketmaster.
Hobert launched the original tour in December 2025 at the Independent in San Francisco. The first run sold out and carried her across the United States and abroad before the recent additions were announced.
The Oakland show will be the tour’s final stop.
Her return to the Bay Area is timed to coincide with the Outside Lands festival, where she will perform again in August. The festival appearance will mark a full‑circle moment for Hobert, who began her career in the region.
She is also scheduled to play the Golden Gate Park music festival on August 8. The date is notable because it falls on the same day as her younger brother, pop singer Malcolm Todd. Their father, Tim Hobert, is a television comedy writer, producer and actor best known for work on shows such as Scrubs and Spin City.
Hobert’s family background has drawn attention to the growing trend of nepo‑baby artists in the music industry. She is also close friends with Grammy‑nominated songwriter Gracie Abrams, the daughter of filmmaker J.J. Abrams; the two met as teenagers and later co‑wrote tracks for Abrams’ 2024 album The Secret of Us, including “I Love You, I’m Sorry” and “Risk.”
Hobert’s debut single “Sue Me” was released in 2025 and peaked at number 39 on the Billboard Pop Airplay chart in July. Her debut album, Who’s the Clown?, dropped on August 15, 2025, through RCA Records.
