Christina Stejskal Returns to Fender as Chief Communications Officer

On July 20 2026, Fender Musical Instruments Corp. welcomed back former communications veteran Christina Stejskal as its new chief communications officer, rejoining the executive team after a two‑year hiatus.

Stejskal first joined Fender almost a decade ago, steering the messaging for flagship lines such as the American Professional Series and the Acoustasonic Telecaster. Her leadership helped embed the brand’s story of heritage, craftsmanship and contemporary innovation.

After leaving Fender, she became senior director of global public relations at Dolby Laboratories, where she oversaw worldwide media strategy for Dolby Digital, Dolby Atmos, and the rollout of key audio products and industry events.

Fender’s CEO, Edward “Bud” Cole, praised Stejskal’s deep understanding of the brand, noting, “Christina knows what makes Fender unique—our history, our players, and the culture that has grown around this brand for generations.” Cole added that she has “played an important role in shaping Fender’s global story, combining strategic thinking and creativity to build meaningful connections with audiences worldwide.”

Stejskal replied, “I’m honored to return to Fender and join the executive leadership team. Few brands have shaped music and culture the way Fender has. I’m excited to help tell the stories behind our people, our products and the players who inspire us every day, while helping write this iconic company’s next chapter.”

Fender’s recent launches— the American Professional Classic series and the Acoustasonic Telecaster—underscore its strategy of marrying classic design with modern technology. The company’s growing digital marketing efforts and online community initiatives further highlight the need for a coherent communications plan.

Stejskal’s return arrives amid a broader industry focus on brand storytelling and digital engagement. Her dual experience at Fender and Dolby positions her to amplify the company’s narrative across traditional media, social platforms and live events, ensuring that Fender’s heritage and innovation resonate with musicians, producers and audio professionals worldwide.

The appointment signals Fender’s dedication to a unified global communications strategy as it continues to roll out new instruments and expand its digital presence. With Stejskal steering the narrative, the brand is set to strengthen its identity and uphold its leadership role in the competitive musical instrument market.

Stejskal has already begun her duties as chief communications officer, reporting to CEO Cole. No further leadership changes have been announced.
