Frank Rogers Named CEO of Spirit Music Nashville, Continuing Dual Role as Producer and Songwriter
When a producer who has written 46 No. 1 singles and shaped country music for two decades steps into the boardroom, the industry takes notice. On July 22 2026, Spirit Music Nashville announced that Frank Rogers will serve as its new chief executive officer while keeping his hands on the mixing board.
Rogers’ journey began in Sumter, South Carolina, where he picked up a guitar at age 12. He earned a degree from Belmont University in Nashville, where he worked as a staff engineer before becoming a production assistant at EMI Music Publishing. While at EMI, he wrote for artists such as Brad Paisley and Darryl Worley and secured a publishing deal for his own compositions.
In 1999, Rogers co‑founded Sea Gayle Music with Brad Paisley and Chris DuBois. The independent publisher produced hits for Josh Turner, Trace Adkins and Chris Stapleton, and was named ASCAP Country Publisher of the Year in 2010 and 2011.
After departing Sea Gayle, Rogers launched Fluid Music Revolution in 2016 as a joint venture with Spirit Music Group. The company focuses on discovering and developing songwriters, artists and producers, and Rogers has maintained a hands‑on role while expanding his responsibilities within Spirit.
As CEO of Spirit Music Nashville, Rogers will oversee all creative and operational activities for the Nashville office. He will also continue to write and produce for high‑profile country artists. Current projects include a new Darius Rucker record, a collaboration with Scotty McCreery, and work with emerging songwriter Emily Ann Roberts.
Rogers’ influence extends beyond the studio. He has earned multiple CMA, ACM and Grammy awards, and was named Billboard’s No. 1 Hot Country Producer for five consecutive years (2006‑2010). He has written 10 No. 1 hits, including Brad Paisley’s “I’m Gonna Miss Her (The Fishin’ Song)” and Darius Rucker’s “Alright.”
In addition to his music‑industry achievements, Rogers was recently honored with South Carolina’s Order of the Palmetto, recognizing his stewardship of the state’s musical heritage and his representation of South Carolina on a national stage.
Rogers attributes his success to a blend of songwriting, production and business acumen. He cites mentors such as Jimmy Gilmer, Celia Froehlig and Mark Wright for guidance, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a unique creative voice while managing executive responsibilities.
Spirit Music Group’s decision to bring Rogers to the helm signals a continued focus on Nashville’s country music ecosystem. The company will leverage his network of writers and artists to expand its catalog and support emerging talent.
The move comes amid a music publishing landscape that is adapting to digital distribution, streaming royalties and AI‑generated content. By pairing Rogers’ experience with Spirit Music Group’s resources, the Nashville office is positioned to navigate these changes while preserving the traditional strengths of country songwriting and production.
Rogers’ dual role as executive and creative professional is expected to shape the company’s strategy for talent development, publishing deals and global expansion. His track record of producing chart‑topping hits and managing successful publishing ventures provides a solid foundation for Spirit Music Nashville’s future growth.
