Beatport Unveils Greenroom: One-Stop Dashboard for Artists, Labels and DJs

Beatport’s newest rollout, Greenroom, arrives as a single‑screen command centre that stitches together chart data, DJ downloads, follower counts and ticket links for any artist or label that can verify its Beatport identity.

The dashboard pulls together the disparate metrics that previously lived in separate corners of Beatport’s site. Chart positions, feature placements, DJ‑download numbers, stream figures and social‑media followers all appear in one table, while a built‑in editor lets creators update photos, bios and release lists without leaving the page. A new “Tickets” widget lets fans buy events directly from a profile, turning browsing into a quick ticket‑purchase flow.

“DJ community represents a unique audience of leaned‑in listeners and tastemakers who take the music they love and share it with the world, but this community has historically been difficult to engage directly through traditional channels,” said Alex Branson, Beatport’s Chief Commercial Officer. “Artists and labels can now utilise their profiles with greater agency, understand how DJs are interacting with their music, and better connect with their DJ followers to nurture long‑term relationships.” Branson added that Beatport plans to expand Greenroom’s capabilities in the future.

Beyond individual analytics, Greenroom supports team workflows. Labels can invite and pre‑verify multiple collaborators to a single profile, eliminating shared logins and keeping data clean. The tool also sits alongside Beatport’s other creator‑focused initiatives—Beatport Next, the artist‑development arm, and Beatport Live & Interactive, a live‑streaming and event‑promotion service—forming a broader ecosystem that serves the production side of dance music.

Founded in 2004 as a download store for DJs, Beatport now powers more than 80,000 labels and 400,000 artists worldwide. The company is owned by LiveStyle, which acquired it in 2013, and its evolution from pure sales to a full‑service platform has added original content, on‑demand streaming and live‑event coverage.

Greenroom’s launch comes amid a wider industry push toward data‑driven promotion and streamlined creator tools. While mainstream streaming services routinely offer dashboards, Beatport’s focus on DJs and club culture gives the new platform a niche edge for the electronic dance music community.

To claim a profile, creators log into greenroom.beatport.com, search for their name or label, verify their identity and await approval. Once approved, they can manage catalogue details, view detailed analytics, update profile information and link upcoming events from Beatport Tickets.

The move to centralise artist and label tools mirrors a broader shift toward integrated platforms that combine distribution, promotion, analytics and monetisation. By offering a single point of control, Greenroom aims to reduce friction for creators and give DJs clearer insight into how their music is performing.

At present, Greenroom is free to use. Beatport has not announced any pricing changes or subscription tiers for the service.

The platform is live, and artists and labels can begin claiming their profiles immediately. Beatport will continue to add new features, according to Branson, as part of its ongoing commitment to support the DJ community and its creators.
