DISTORTED MGMT Adds Jackie Procacci to Expand Bass-Music Roster

On Tuesday, Los Angeles‑based boutique management firm DISTORTED MGMT announced the addition of seasoned manager Jackie Procacci to its ranks. The hire brings Procacci’s roster—Nikita, the Wicked and Next To Blue—to the company’s growing lineup and assigns her to the management teams of bass‑music acts Effin and AYCH.

DISTORTED MGMT, founded in 2024, has positioned itself as a boutique firm that develops electronic artists with distinct sonic identities rather than chasing short‑term trends. Its current lineup includes Effin, Cyclops, BARELY ALIVE, GHENGAR and Ghastly, and the new additions announced today.

Founder Andrew Sierra said the hire fits the company’s long‑term vision. “From day one, the vision for DISTORTED MGMT has been to build a management company that helps artists create lasting careers while pushing bass music forward,” Sierra said. “Welcoming Jackie Procacci to the team marks another major step in that vision.”

Procacci, who has managed Nikita and the Wicked for nearly five years and Next To Blue for more than three, said the partnership felt like an obvious fit. “Joining DISTORTED felt like a natural next step because Andrew and the team share the same energy and intention I bring to my artists,” she said. “We are all passionate about building sustainable careers and supporting artists who are doing something truly unique.”

The announcement also confirms Procacci’s involvement with Effin and AYCH. Effin, known for sampling vintage soul and blues records, released his sophomore album Daydreams last summer. The album has been described as a “laid‑back bass record” that blends modern production with a 1950s‑inspired aesthetic. Effin has collaborated with high‑profile artists such as GRiZ, NGHTMRE, LSDREAM and Tape B.

AYCH, a rising act in the bass‑music scene, is described by Procacci as poised for a breakout moment. “I believe AYCH is positioned for a breakout,” she said.

The addition of Procacci and her roster expands DISTORTED MGMT’s focus on bass‑music talent. The company’s strategy emphasizes long‑term career development over fleeting popularity, a model that has attracted artists who prioritize sonic identity.

Industry observers note that the move aligns with a broader trend of management firms carving out niches within electronic and bass‑music subgenres. By aligning with managers who have proven track records in these areas, firms can offer artists specialized support while differentiating themselves in a crowded market.

DISTORTED MGMT’s roster now includes:

Effin – bass‑music producer known for Daydreams Cyclops – electronic artist BARELY ALIVE – bass‑music act GHENGAR – electronic producer Ghastly – bass‑music artist Nikita – electronic artist the Wicked – bass‑music act Next To Blue – electronic artist

The company’s expansion is expected to strengthen its presence in the bass‑music community and provide additional resources for its artists.

The announcement was made via a statement posted on the company’s social‑media channels. No additional financial details were disclosed.

DISTORTED MGMT’s focus on sustainable careers and strong sonic identities positions it as a notable player in the evolving landscape of electronic and bass‑music management. The addition of Jackie Procacci and her roster signals the firm’s continued commitment to nurturing artists who push genre boundaries.

The company has not yet announced any new releases or touring plans for its expanded roster.

The move underscores the importance of specialized management in supporting artists who prioritize creative integrity and long‑term growth.
