What is Post-Dubstep?

The style typically retains some dubstep characteristics, such as sub-bass and syncopated rhythms, but moves away from heavy drops and wobble bass. Instead, it emphasizes space, texture, and subtle rhythmic variation.

Post-Dubstep often features sparse beats, soft or fragmented vocals, and rich ambient layers. The music tends to be more introspective and melodic, focusing on mood rather than intensity.

Tempos usually sit around 130–140 BPM, though the feel is often more relaxed due to minimal drum patterns and spacious arrangements.
