What is Key Tracking?

Key Tracking is a synthesis feature that adjusts a parameter based on the pitch of the note being played. It is known for maintaining consistency and balance across different parts of the keyboard.

The process typically involves linking a parameter—such as filter cutoff, envelope amount, or modulation depth—to the keyboard’s note position, so that higher notes and lower notes respond differently.
